Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking DevOps Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.
What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and shared components to support feature team delivery
Develop processes and tools for internal customers, creating a path towards their destination architecture, and maximizing the efficiency, performance, and scalability of containerized applications
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
Provide observability solutions to ensure issue detection and fast recovery
Leverage programming languages (Python, Golang) and AWS Services (ECS, Fargate) to enable the deployment of distributed systems with a focus on high scalability, availability, and performance
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience with infrastructure as code tools such as: Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
2 years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
2 years of experience with container orchestration services including Docker or Kubernetes
2 years of experience with at least one of the coding and scripting languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl or Ruby
2 years of experience working with Agile Development Practices
1 years of experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, TeamCity, or Circle CI
