Filing Clerk – Contract Position
We are seeking help with a clean-up scanning/archiving project that we estimate will take 2-3 months to complete. Could be a great fit for a college student or individual seeking a short-term position in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities:
- General document processing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare documents for imaging and image files as requested.
- Scanning and image enhancement to convert printed documents into digital formats.
- Upload PDFs into the imaging system, receive, log, sort, link, file, documents.
- Effectively operate a high-speed desktop scanner, corresponding software, and related copiers to capture digital images.
- Additional duties as necessary or research tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a positive attitude.
- Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) & Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong spelling, editing, proof reading, punctuation, and grammar skills.
- Great clerical skills, including data entry and document handling.
- Must have clear background check prior to employment.
Detail:
- Pay: $15 an hour
- Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday from 8/9am - 4/5pm, no more than 40 hours per week
- 2-3 month contract assignment
- Business casual dress code: jeans/tennis shoes
