Supervise and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Plan and monitor the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization, and perform systems capacity analysis and planning. Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and using business systems. Commensurate experience and education.

 Eight (8) YEARS field experience or in a related area; AA or BS degree in engineering, computer science, or business administration OR equivalent work experience

Support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Rapidly distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system problems. Perform the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, develop, and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements. Develop solutions to complex technical issues. Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for Root Cause analysis, engineering technical assessment and process improvement initiatives. 

Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems. Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes and create and/or automate scripts. Add, remove, or update user account information, resetting passwords. 

Experience with server patch management methodologies. Create, update and/or maintain operations and maintenance documentation. Experience with interacting with customers to handle service inquiries and resolve problems. Support system administration of application that may include, but is not limited to; Citrix VDI, JIRA, and Gemini. Works independently or as a member of a team. Possess, practices and demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
