What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Prepress Operator position at Capitol Citicom, Inc?
Citicom is looking for a detail oriented Prepress Technician with excellent layout and proofing skills and experience with digital print production. Candidate must know the Adobe suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. A successful candidate will be able to work on multiple projects at once, be able to perform within tight deadlines, have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
Job Duties:
- Preflight customer files for print readiness.
- Communicate with client by sending proofs and to obtain files that will produce the best product possible for the client.
- Makes corrections to client’s files as necessary for print readiness.
- Communicate with project managers and press operators to ensure job accuracy.
- Layout/Design files for client.
- Program cutting files for router.
- Preps mailing paperwork and mailing lists for post office.
- Merge data lists with art.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years Prepress or Graphic Design experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Design Products a must. (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Mail prep experience a plus
- Microsoft Excel experience a plus.
- Attention to Detail.
- Deadline-Oriented.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
