As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for shipment, assure proper control of parts inventory, and run related administrative functions.
What you'll be working on:
- Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments, verify information against invoices, orders, and other records
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
- Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
- Maintain shipping and receiving records, delivery truck maintenance records, and returned parts records
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
What you need to bring to the table:
- High school diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)
- 1 years in a customer service environment
- DMV Check Required
- Forklift/Pallet Jack experience a plus
Salary: $17.00-$30.00/hour
*Pay is based on applicable experience and skills.
