JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for training clinical staff by providing educational experiences both in the field and in the classroom setting. This position will collect and analyze data to identify staff needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs and will ensure that clinical competency is maintained at all times.
WORK LOCATION
Position will cover all of Capitols Service Area with travel require between Waco and San Antonio Metro Area.
Employee can work out of Austin or San Antonio office

QUALIFICATIONS
Physical Therapist with current and unencumbered license to practice PT in the State of Texas.
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years' experience in home health preferred.
One (1) to two (2) years' experience developing and training clinical staff.
Requires a working knowledge of Medicare conditions of participation for home health care, Department of Health Title XXII regulations, home care accreditation standards, OIF Work Plan and HIPAA regulations in addition to knowledge of population with advance illness care needs.
Working knowledge of OASIS documentation requirements, required.
Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical documentation software.
Possess and maintain valid CPR certification. Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clinicians and administrative staff.
