Job Posting for Payroll Clerk - Part Time at Capitol Payroll

Capitol Payroll is hiring! Located in Downtown Ogden, we are looking to fill a part-time in office, position. This is a starting position. Hours are anywhere from 10-30 hours a week. Monday’s & Tuesday’s are required. Additional time will be available, with significant time during the months of April, July, October & January. Remote work hours are not available.

Job Requirements:

  • 95% of our work is computer related and you must be comfortable working in multiple software programs
  • Good communication skills with clients in person and over the phone.
  • Able to be flexible with tasks when necessary

You will process payroll, make required state and government tax payments and handle other misc. payroll requests as needed. You will have assigned clients and gain an understanding of the laws regarding payroll and payroll taxes. This position will have the opportunity to grow as Capitol Payroll grows.
