DENTAL BILLING ADMINISTRATOR
Capitol Periodontal Group is a multi-location private periodontal practice that has been providing periodontal and dental implant care throughout Northern California for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic Dental Billing Administrator who thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment. JOB OVERVIEW
Our ideal Dental Billing Administrator candidate will be a personable, polished, and professional individual, with exceptional communication skills, a friendly and positive demeanor, and a passion for providing the highest level of service to patients, peers, Doctors, and all stakeholders. This Dental Billing Administrator is responsible for posting insurance and private payments, responding to inquiries from insurance regarding claims, posting pre-determinations, and handling phone calls from patients regarding their account. Duties may also include balancing and tracking daily production/collection totals for each location, monthly production/collection reporting, electronically sending statements to patients, collection activity for outstanding accounts, and updating contracts with contracted insurance carriers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma and two years of related Dental experience
- Minimum of 3 years Dental Experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer proficiency, Dentrix software knowledge a plus
- Periodontal and or Oral Surgery Knowledge is helpful
- Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional telephone and communication skills.
- Collaborative team player who has the ability to deal with a wide variety of people in an effective and courteous manner.
- Must be reliable, dependable, and maintain an excellent attendance record.
This is a full-time, 5 day work week position with hours of operation from 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
