CREC Resource Group Recruiter
Position Description
The Recruiter is a member of the CREC Resource Group (CRG) staffing team, responsible for recruiting staff for CRG's brokered services business.
The Recruiter sources candidates to serve in full time and per diem student support positions (e.g., paraeducators, speech and language specialists, tutors, interpreters, school psychologists, special education teachers, behavior specialists, occupational therapy, physical therapy, school and district administrators, etc.
The Recruiter collaborates with staffing coordinators to place candidates in short- and long-term employment assignments.
Essential Job Functions
- Implement and update the established strategic recruitment plan, advancing the brand across numerous markets and professional communities to attract a high volume of qualified candidates for interviews, including network events, career fairs, collegial events.
- Employ traditional recruiting strategies and resources while developing new, creative ideas to attract candidates to CREC.
- Source quality candidates for open roles, pre-screen to confirm their qualifications and work experience, initiate reference checks, and present fully vetted candidates for the next level of interviewing.
- Actively use online resources such as internal applicant tracking system (Frontline), social networks and job-searching platforms to find quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions.
- Collaborate with CRG's related services team and other divisions throughout the organization to build partnerships and advance recruitment efforts.
- Building relationships with potential applicants and external resources 3rd party vendors to keep a steady stream of service providers available.
- Maintain and expand a customer relationship management (CRM) database of vetted service providers to meet current needs and support business growth.
- Create and foster relationships with colleges and professional organizations to attract and recruit candidates.
Additional Duties
- Consistently use technology systems, including those used for sales, finance, and communications within CREC Resource Group and with customers.
- Represent the organization externally, as needed, to government agencies, funders, partner organizations, community organizations, and major customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Commitment to furthering CREC's commitment to anti-racism, social justice mission, diversity, equity, and inclusion work, and core values.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with technology with the ability to learn new workflow and business tools.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking, CRM systems, and / or database systems.
- Knowledge of public school district operations and CT school laws and regulations is preferred.
- Highly flexible and adaptive work style, with the ability to prioritize among competing demands.
Qualifications Profile
- Associate's degree or higher in business, sales, recruitment, marketing, or related field.
- Recruitment experience required; three or more years of recruitment experience preferred.
- Experience in recruiting staff for special education environments preferred.
Equipment
Use of standard office equipment such as personal computers, copy machines, and telephones.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel required within CT for recruitment events, conferences, etc.
- Occasional evening and weekend recruitment events.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Position is regular telecommuting : work at an alternate work location (e.g., home office) and occasional work at a CREC location.
