Position Description
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the part-time trainer is expected to provide training and technical assistance for 21st Century Community Learning Centers schools and districts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the part-time trainer is expected to provide training and technical assistance for 21st Century Community Learning Centers schools and districts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides virtual training on topics including:
Self Awareness/Social Awareness
Relationships
Decision-Making/Self-Management
Participates in meetings, conferences, program training, and discussion groups.
Additional Duties
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively interact and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Requires skills in group facilitation, interpersonal sensitivity, presentation, and writing.
Commitment to learn, understand deeply, and evaluate information independently.
Capacity to collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with Zoom, Google Slides, and MS-Office suite of products.
Qualifications
BA/BS in education or related field preferred
Two years of experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Equipment
Use of standard office equipment such as personal computers and web based meeting software such as Zoom.
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel throughout Connecticut may be a requirement of this position.
