Title: Medical Receptionist/Scheduler
Location: 2013 FM 407, Ste 100 Highland Village, TX 75077
Shift: Mon to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Duration: 12 Weeks Contract, Possible Extension
Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Six months of recent medical front office experience (preferred) OR
Six months of Customer Service experience in a Business Office Environment (preferred)
Scheduling and insurance verification within a medical office setting (preferred)
Basic Computer Skills (preferred)
Responsibilities
Will be working patient lists to schedule patients for follow-up visits. Will need to update demographics, insurance, etc. when scheduling patients.
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process
Under direct supervision, performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance.
Answers phone calls and direct them appropriately.
Schedules appointments according to office guidelines.
Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts.
Copies/scans patient access related hard copy materials (e.g., ID, referrals, insurance cards, etc.)
