What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Supervisor position at CapMetro?
A Shop Supervisor to oversee work to anticipate, detect and address issues that impede operations, create work schedules and track attendance in accordance with company policy, and enforce all safety regulations and protocols. The Shop Supervisor is responsible for training and development of the maintenance staff and will work with the Maintenance Manager in the running of the day-to-day business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains work records and files.
• Assigns duties to shop workers.
• Assists in repair, construction, maintenance, or other tasks involved in client work orders.
• Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
• Tracks and reports employee attendance in accordance with company policy
• Enforces all health and safety policies in the shop.
• Ensures that all deadlines are met.
• Assists employees in on-site health or safety emergencies.
• Addresses and resolves customer issues and complaints.
• Operates shop machinery.
• Ensures that shop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.
