Overview: We are seeking an outgoing and experienced Account Manager to join our growing Personal Lines Team! This individual will be a team player, who is compassionate with clients and has at least 5 years of progressive Personal Lines experience working within an independent insurance agency.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records within agency management system and electronic files
  • Prepare applications and coordinate quoting and account rounding
  • Initiate and complete renewal process
  • Review all renewal policies for accuracy and approval by the Team Leader/Producer
  • Request renewal policy corrections
  • Build relationships with underwriters and insureds
  • Delegate tasks identified for Account Assistant and oversee the accuracy of their work
  • Participation in client meetings to review/summarize day to day changes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and at least 5 years of Personal Lines experience at an Independent Agency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid NY P&C license
  • Adaptable in a changing work environment
  • Team player
  • Experience with Agency Management System AMS360 preferred

Pay Range: $25- $30/ hour

  • A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
