Overview: The person who holds this position is responsible for weighing and mixing consumable materials for sale to consumers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Flexibility required based on the production schedule and blender availability.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the blending room and equipment.
- Responsible for proper documentation including, but not limited to: product name, work order number, and lot number of the product to be encapsulated/tableted, the operator’s initials, start-date and time, and verifying QA inspector’s initials.
- Responsible for proper documentation on Equipment/Room Use & Cleaning log prior to any product components being brought into the room.
- Responsible for making sure specifications are met, testing is performed, and properly documented.
- Accountable for the quality of product made.
- Accurate and timely recording of materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents.
- Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area.
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the current processes.
- All other duties as assigned and needed.
Requirements:
- Able to comprehend and act on detail written work instruction.
- Must follow all SOP’s and cGMP requirements.
- Ability to follow all forms of instructions and directions, particularly work orders, safety, and company policies.
- Must be able to understand gram and kilo scales.
- Must wear personnel protective equipment as needed.
- Must be able to work in a humid room.
- Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
- Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
- Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
Work Conditions:
- Subject to normal warehouse and production environment.
- Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required.
- Subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes from the machines, odors, powders, dust and other particles.
