Job Posting for Director of Training at Capstone Partners Financial and Insurance Services, LLC
The Director of Training will perform a variety of functions supporting financial professionals from onboarding experience to successful launch into the firm. This individual will support producers as they progress through learning systems, processes, and practice building.
Duties Include:
Develop and execute a strategic training plan aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, encompassing both new hire training and ongoing professional development programs
Identify training needs and priorities through collaboration with departmental and firm leaders, to ensure alignment with business objectives and industry standards
Design and deliver engaging and effective training content, materials, and resources utilizing a variety of modalities, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, workshops, and simulations
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, feedback, and performance metrics, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to enhance training content and delivery methods
Develop and administer training budgets, timelines, and project plans, managing resources and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and objectives
Serve as a champion for learning and development within the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, growth, and excellence
Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with all new inexperienced advisors joining Capstone Enterprise, providing personalized guidance and support while reporting on key meeting outcomes and insights
Reviews and tests Capstone language to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards and best practices
Coordinates all aspects of Pre-Launch and Launch Training Modules, including scheduling, content development, facilitation, and evaluation, to ensure a seamless and effective training experience for new advisors
Manages the coordination of training initiatives for the enterprise, including weekly launch sessions, bi-weekly advanced training case study series, and monthly Capstone Talks call, fostering continuous learning and professional development opportunities
Represents the organization by attending annual events such as the MassMutual Academy, Leaders Conference, and Fall Sales Conference, leveraging these opportunities to enhance knowledge, skills, and network connections
Provides weekly reports on training outcomes, production metrics, areas for improvement, and areas of strength, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
Demonstrates a commitment to increasing Year 1 production and retention rates through proactive coaching, performance management, and targeted training interventions
Provide a comprehensive weekly summary report to the General Agent, highlighting weekly activities and tracking information for all agents in training
Any other duties assigned by manager
Reports directly to General Agent
Qualifications:
Must have Series 7 and Series 65 or 66
No disclosures or issues with FINRA that would require special supervision
Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
Proven experience in training and development, instructional design, or talent management within the insurance and financial services industry
Strong understanding of industry-specific roles, products, regulations, and market dynamics
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, adult learning principles, and training delivery methods
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other training technology tools as well as the Microsoft suite of programs
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance improvement and achieving measurable outcomes
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, anticipate challenges, and develop innovative solutions
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity in all training activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation & Benefits:
$100,000 annual base plus percentage of market growth
3% override on T1 LDL FYC on units’ production on career agents in service years 1 through 4.
1% bonus on overall performance of career agents in service years 1 through 4 based on T1 Life and Disability when minimum growth of 5% year over year in T1 Life and Disability is achieved.

This is a W2 role with Capstone Partners and requires maintaining a MassMutual contract as a registered representative
Maintaining this contract includes reporting $10,000 in T1 WLADL or 4 life insurance policies
