Position Overview
The primary duty of the Night Staff at Capstone is to ensure the safety, care, and wellbeing of each client that has admitted to Capstone. The ability to maintain order and keep the schedule flowing throughout the nights will provide consistency to our clientele. The Night Staff play a vital role in our program, one that ensures that boundaries, respect, and accountability are maintained in a Christ-centered environment.
Essential Job Functions
· Exhibit a Christ-Centered life.
· Initiate Evening and Spiritual Groups and serve as the mediator
· Participate and Interact with clients and client activities (Free Time, Weight Workout)
· Ensure the safety of clients and fellow employee’s by constantly being aware of what is going on with clients
· Adhere to and keep the daily schedule for consistency
· Administer medications for dinner and night meds
· Required to stay awake and alert the entire shift
· Must Perform routine inspections of clients in Cabins
· Supervise clients at all times during shift
· Defend Capstone for what it stands for and build relationships
· Hold clients accountable in weight workout
· Provide Details on Daily Behavior of clients
· Must be able to make call on weather and safety issues
· Communicate by Morning Email status of nights
Non-essential Job Functions
· Work Weekend Saturday and Sunday Shifts
· Perform minor maintenance issues
· Escort and monitor clients to appointments (Doctor Visits)
· Assist in food prep nights and weekends
Requirements
· Must be in good physical and mental health
· Neat in appearance
· Tactful, patient, and courteous
· Capable of maintaining good working relations among personnel, clients, and visitors
· Communication skills
· Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
· CPR, First Aid, and CPI Training Required
