We are representing an industry leading manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior Plant Accountant for their rapidly growing manufacturing facility. This organization is the industry leader in their respective product line and have a proven track record of success. This position would report to their Sr. Plant Controller with a strong working relationship with their Director of Finance.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Assist with month-end close process including financial package preparation.
- Maintain various records, ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
- Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and review of capital and tooling projects along with related spending.
- Responsible for the recordation of Fixed Assets, depreciation schedules and reconciliation of Fixed Assets, Tooling and Other Assets accounts.
- Provides management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
- Conduct variance analysis for multiple departments/programs.
- Investigate forecast vs. actual spending variances and project budget over-runs.
- Assist with the completion of internal and external audits and compliance reporting requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Candidate should be well versed in Excel
- Experience with month end close process
- Strong budgeting/forecasting
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
