Captions is looking to bring on a skilled and experienced SEO Strategist to join our growth marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to optimize our search engine rankings, drive traffic, and boost conversion rates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest SEO techniques and a proven track record in driving organic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute successful SEO strategies.

• Conduct rigorous keyword research to guide content teams.

• Review and analyze technical SEO issues and recommend fixes.

• Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.

• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).

• Collect data and produce regular reports on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects.

• Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns.

• Stay updated on SEO and integrated marketing trends.

• Monitor changes in Google's Algorithm and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Analyze the performance of current SEO strategies and identify areas for improvement.

• Coordinate with other internal teams to ensure SEO strategy aligns with and supports overall company goals.

• Utilize SEO tools and software to track performance and inform strategy.

• Regularly perform thorough keywords discovery, expansion, and optimization.

• Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their business goals and provide SEO solutions accordingly.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of proven experience in a demanding SEO role.

• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and user acquisition.

• Demonstrated track record of analytical ability, including strong skills with Excel/Google Sheets and working knowledge of SQL.

• Previous experience using data warehouse (e.g. Hive/Spark) and interactive analytics systems (e.g. Presto) strongly desired.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Javascript.

• Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices.

• Experience with SEO reporting and SEO analytics tools.

• Familiarity with relevant SEO tools and other web analytics tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work within a team and independently.

• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.

Compensation Range: $80K - $110K
