Description
Captivation Software is looking for a mid level Systems Engineer who has a strong Kubernetes background.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required Skills:
- Strong (3 years) Kubernetes installation and experience
- Experience with large OpenSearch installations
- Experience troubleshooting distributed applications
- Basic NiFi administration
- Experience writing/using Salt for configuration management
- Experience writing/maintaining Helm charts
- Basic Git experience
- Influx/Prometheus/Grafana experience.
- Experience with Kafka distributed event store and stream processing platform
- Ceph storage platform
Desired Skills:
- Rancher/RKE/K3S based Kubernetes experience is preferred
