Job Posting for Manager, Investor Relations at Cara Therapeutics
Duties and responsibilities:
Lead the planning and logistical execution of investment and biopharmaceutical industry conferences and events, virtual/in person meetings and roadshows, including the preparation of briefing materials and managing logistical details such as event registrations, travel arrangements, presentation scheduling, and 1-1 meetings schedule management.
Manage the planning and logistical execution of Cara organized virtual/in-person meetings and events including earnings calls, data release calls or other company sponsored events such as R&D days (includes KOL management and contracting, presentation materials preparation)
Assist with the creation and management of investor materials including review and approval of corporate presentations, press releases, conference call scripts and Q&A documents
Help develop, implement, and manage an overarching strategic investor relations plan and calendar of events including ensuring timely input, participation, and by-in from members of the senior leadership team
Track, review and synthesize key take aways from investment research reports on the overall financial markets, macro-economics and Cara specific content
Monitor and provide insights from peer activity including news releases, earnings calls, and key sell-side research reports
Manage the investor relations website including regularly scheduled and ad-hoc updates to ensure that all disclosures, presentations, and company information are accurate and current
Administer CRM database to ensure meeting notes are complete for meetings with analyst, investors and other stakeholders
Assist with related special projects that will help Cara achieve its mission and vision
Qualifications include but not limited to:
2 to 3 years as an investor relations analyst or in a similar position in the biopharmaceutical industry
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
The ability to multitask effectively by working on several projects simultaneously
A high attention to both detail and accuracy in the work products
The ability to participate in a fast-paced work environment, as well as a willingness to contribute in areas that fall outside of their core responsibilities
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of U.S. or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Travel:
Predominantly office and WFH based with <20% travel
