The Regional Director supports the delivery of Caravel Autism Health’s offering through multiple clinical operations and teams in a targeted geography, providing direct management and service to Clinical Directors and their day-to-day operations. Further, the Regional Director collaborates with and coordinates cross-functional teams from Caravel’s support services platform to serve the needs of each location and team. This opening will support our clinics in Washington (Tacoma, Spokane, Kennewick) and Idaho (Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Coeur d'Alene).
Essential Functions:
- Oversees and directs the business operations of an organization in an assigned geographical region.
- Manages and guides the activities of local clinic directors within their territory.
- Develops and implements business and marketing strategies to achieve company goals.
- Monitors and controls costs to ensure adherence to defined budget and to maximize company profitability.
- Collects data on business operations and performance from clinic directors, identifies areas for growth and leads improvement efforts.
- Presents relevant information to chief executives.
- Leads teammate engagement initiatives, seen as a culture carrier for the org.
- Participate in cross-market learnings and support; share with and learn from peers re: best practices and growth across different geographies.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Oversees clinic directors of a defined region.
Travel Required: Frequent travel to clinic locations with use of personal vehicle required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to a client who exhibits physically aggressive behavior which can include kicking, pinching, punching, biting, etc. The employee may have to use appropriate behavior management techniques frequently with a client under such circumstances. Such response requires agility, quick reflexes, and the ability to use physically evasive movement. The employee will be constantly required to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, hear, type and write. In addition, the employee will be exposed to normal office conditions and usual office equipment such as phone, computer, printers, copiers, files, etc. The employee must be able to independently and repeatedly lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near, far, and field of vision. Speech must be spoken in a way in which others will understand. This position requires regular and punctual employee presence.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma and bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- BCBA and/or ABA experience strongly preferred but not required.
Experience:
- At least 7 years of leadership experience.
- Background in business administration, operations, or clinical management strongly preferred.
- Experience in strategy and market development health care services preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. .
- Maintains professional boundaries with clients and their families, representing organization in a professional manner.
