Private not-for-profit D&A outpatient treatment program is seeking a Part-time D&A Treatment Specialist for its Lehighton, PA office. Position provides in-office drug and alcohol counseling services to clients in our outpatient D&A treatment program.

Candidate MUST possess minimum of BS/BA in Psychology/Sociology/Human Services and over one-year direct drug and alcohol counseling experience. Working knowledge of ASAM, communication/computer skills a must, CADC preferred.

Position is Part-time 12 hours per week, no benefits, Tues/Wed/Thurs 4:00pm-8:00pm. Starting wage is $20.68hr. Pay increase following successful completion of six-month probationary period.

With master's degree in chemical dependency/Psychology/Social Work/Counseling, starting wage increases to $21.71.

  • No weekends

  • Lehighton, PA 18235: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Addiction counseling: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
