Job Posting for Body Shop Manager/Estimator at Carco International, Inc.
Carco International, Inc. is seeking a Body Shop Manager/Estimator who can ensure the highest quality repair and overall experience for our customers. The role of the Body Shop Manager/Estimator is to supervise body and paint shop personnel, actively seek heavy duty and medium duty paint and body repair business, provide customer estimates and manage repairs. Successful candidates should be motivated and have strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Regulate work schedules and asign work to personnel
Check and review work in process for quality and timely repairs
Write estimates locally and out of town
Maintain body/paint facilities and tools
Maintain safe work habits and enviroment
Work closely with parts and service departments
Make frequent customer visits to maintain relationships and evaluate customer's needs
Works closely with adjusters and insurance companies, maintain solid relationships
Complete paperwork in a timely manner
Maintain neccessary training and staff training
Keep informed of federal, state and local regulations regarding hazordous materials
Follow all safety practices and procedures
Perform all other duties as assigned
Reports to General Manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills
Heavy and medium duty truck paint and body shop experience, auto experience may be accepted with mechanical understanding of heavy and medium truck
Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required
Basic computer skills
Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen
Schedule:
Business hours Monday thru Friday
