Registered Nurse Team Lead – Cardiac/Thoracic/Vascular – Operating Room – 40 Hours – Day Shift
$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS

GENERAL SUMMARY
Team Lead RN - Operating Room coordinates activities of staff in the operating room, and provides oversight for front line staff in collaboration with O.R. leadership. Serves as liaison between surgeon, operating room staff, and management. Acts as resource for questions or issues related to procedures or surgeon preference. Coordinates day-to-day operational needs by setting priorities, planning for and addressing staffing needs, and coordinating work across other teams as needed. Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members and provides input in employment decisions; performance issues and performance reviews. May serve in various clinical nursing roles (i.e., direct care nurse, charge nurse, etc.).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Two years of OR experience required.
- Open heart experience highly preferred.
- BSN Preferred.
- Two to three years of relevant acute care nursing experience required.
- A member of AORN organization preferred.
- Actively participates in the O.R. Shared Governance Council or Committee.
- Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse required.
- ACLS preferred.
