Operations Manager- Last Mile (FT)

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager for Last Mile is responsible for the smooth operation of terminal operations. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct logistics of delivery for client.
  • Supervise office staff.
  • Act as liaison between customers, and contractors.
  • When escalated from dispatch, handle customer complaints.
  • Schedule staff and effectively communicate schedule.
  • Administrative duties including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and employee relations.
  • Enforce culture of safety in all daily activities.
  • Complete all collision and injury reports accurately and timely.
 
Qualifications: 
  • High school or equivalent
  • Must be able to work effectively with all types of people
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Previous experience helpful
  • 3PL experience
