Residential Assistant Director

Job Description: The Assistant Director is responsible for the overall stability and growth of the residential program. This position ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures along with local, state, and federal regulations. This position will be a direct supervisor of the qualified disability professionals. Assures group home vacancies are filled by appropriate referrals in a timely manner. 24 hour on call responsibility. Interview, hire, evaluate, discipline and/or discharge employees per the Employee Handbook. Qualifications for this position is a preferred Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education, special education or related field or a registered nurse. One year of direct support experience with people with developmental disabilities required. Three years of supervisory experience required.
