Position: Continuous Improvement Specialist
Assists in maintaining efficiency and quality in the plant by evaluating current performance and looking for ways to improve productivity, reduce costs, and make the best use of resources. Responsibilities include root cause analysis, process improvement projects, using lean and six sigma principles, and implementing continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Clearly define project scope, timeline, and costs.
Lead small to mid-sized continuous improvement projects. - Evaluating and prioritizing potential improvements based on cost/benefit analysis.
- Resolving technical problems such as equipment, resource availability, and quality specifications.
- Conducting detailed analysis of the current situation and accurately describing the issue.
- Identifying priorities using value stream mapping and analysis.
- Identifying obstacles and risks to projects and creating plans to mitigate interference.
- Monitor the implementation of solutions and create successful handover criteria for project closure.
- Passion for Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- 5S & Lean Manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Able to obtain within 4 months of start date)

- Preferred bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. (Not required)
