A Licensing Coordinator in our Compliance department performs a variety of functions in support of the CardWorks state licensing program. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors various state mandated reports.Essential Functions Assists with the maintenance of the collection licenses on behalf of various CardWorks entities. Partners with management in the Finance, Collections, and Recovery areas to ensure accuracy of collection activity information submitted for annual reports Assists with the annual filings and tax fees necessary for the maintenance of Secretary of State Certificates of Authority Monitors and tracks licensing deliverable deadlines Adheres to strict deadlines to ensure licenses do not lapse Assists in submitting state license updates along with appropriate payment for paper renewals for those that are not in the “Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (“NMLS”). Assists with the gathering of requested documentation in response to state license exams/audits Ensures licensed managers licenses do not lapse Ensures physical licenses are displayed across all CardWorks locationsRemains knowledgeable and informed of current state requirements for licensing purposes Performs other duties as assigned Education and Experience:Associate Degree in business or related field required. Bachelor degree preferred.Experience with collection licensing process preferred but not required Familiar with basic consumer credit regulations a plus Strong/Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word expertise required Summary of Qualifications:Ability to complete assigned reports and documents timely with a high level of quality and accuracy Ability to work under strict timelines; provide appropriate follow up.
