What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Caregiver position at Care At Home?
Care At Home is currently seeking highly dependable, mature, and reliable caregivers who are flexible and able to jump in and help our team when we have a call off.
You will need to be available for a minimum of 3 days per week for possible call offs between the hours of 7AM – 11PM.
Shifts times vary from 4 – 12 hours. Most shifts will be in Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Hemet and surrounding areas.
You will need to be able to help with the following caregiver duties:
- Transferring and ambulation
- Bathing or showering, dressing, toileting, and other personal care
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Transportation to appointments or running errands
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
Position Requirements
- Current Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
- COVID Vaccination
- Negative TB Test or Chest X-Ray
- Must be available to work within 1 hour of notice between the hours of 7AM – 11PM
- Have at least 3 full days of availability
- Valid driver's license and car insurance
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
- Willing to submit two professional references
- High School Diploma or GED
On Call Caregiver Wages
- Will earn $15 - $18 per hour for each shift scheduled PLUS a guaranteed $50 for each day you are scheduled on call
