We are seeking an experienced nurse for our assisted living and memory care community. You will be a member of the leadership team and have responsibility for the managing of care staff and caring for our residents. Being a leader in our organization requires on call responsibilities and interaction with our scheduling coordinator. This position reports to the Executive Director at the community.
Requirements include:
- LPN or RN with required state licensure.
- At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment; most of which should be in a management role.
- Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Must have the ability to relate positively to residents, their families, employees and the community at large.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this job, with or without accommodation.
- Must possess good, sound clinical knowledge of conditions and common diagnosis.
Duties include:
- Leading our resident assistants and med techs to ensure superior care
- Patient assessments, audits and staff training
- Completing rounds with physicians
- Communication with pharmacies
