What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician position at Care New England?
Primary Function
The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW) is embedded within the primary care clinic team. This person works directly with the team to assess individuals with behavioral health and /or substance abuse issues and to provide brief treatment services within the clinical setting for children and adults with chronic medical diseases. This position is located in East Greenwich.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited college/university.
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island (LICSW) and CPR certification required.
Commitment to community health and diverse patient population required.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but a behavioral health assistant is provided to assist with interpretation for those without Spanish fluency.
Previous EHR experience preferred (including ability to document medical record).
Experience working in a medical setting is preferred, but training will be provided for those without.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
