Job Posting for KH - Equipment Technician, Respiratory Care, Per-Diem at Care New England
The respiratory care equipment technicians support the respiratory care department by cleaning, setting up, and testing related department equipment, and in many aspects of operations including maintaining stock and distribution of specialty items on patient care units, oxygen cylinders and other medical gases, and rental equipment inventory. They are knowledgeable about respiratory care equipment and infection prevention and control processes, and perform essential non-licensed activities in support of respiratory therapists and patient care teams hospital-wide. This new per-diem backup role is ideal for respiratory therapy students who are working towards becoming licensed respiratory care practitioners, but anyone with previous experience or interest in learning is welcome to apply to be a part of our team.
