- Administers the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the supervising SLP
- Using strong communication skills to communicate with families, SLPs and staff.
- Attending IEP meetings when appropriate as well as performing clerical and scheduling duties
- Documenting students' performance, including skill targeted and type/amount of support provided and administering and scoring screenings for the interpretation by the SLP
- Developing and implementing activities and materials for teaching and practice of skills to address the goals of the student, per the plan developed by the supervising SLP
- Providing treatment through a variety of service delivery models, which may include teletherapy, in-person therapy, individual, and group therapy
- Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
- Promote Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
- Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
- Responsive to requests.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Current Active State License to practice Speech Therapy in the state you are looking to work within.
