Looking for a Full-Time Crisis Response Worker for our Children's Mobile Crisis department. Opportunity to work and be dispatched remotely!
Job Summary:
You will provide immediate therapeutic mobile crisis services to children and youth in the community on a 24/7 hour basis.
What You Will Do:
- Stabilize and minimize the movement of children from one living arrangement to another
- Manage appropriate levels of risk and crisis in the home and community
- Assess children and/or adolescents and families at intake/admissions, during ongoing treatment, service delivery, and discharge
- Collaborate with treatment providers to establish comprehensive assessments and service plans
- Monitor medications intake by assessing symptoms, side effects, and medication compliance; ensure consumer follows through with prescribed medication; recommend changes in medication.
- Provide substance abuse services, family consultation, crisis intervention, and vocational, educational, and employment services
- Record the following information in the consumer's clinical record: assessments, service plans, progress notes (DAP format), and discharge summaries, with all entries authenticated and dated.
- Spend 65% of time face-to-face with consumers, in their homes and the community
What We Need to See:
- A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited college or university
- 1 years experience post Bachelor's working with children/adolescents and their families in crisis
- Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
- A valid driver's license and must be insurable under the Agency's automobile insurance policy.
