Summer School Age Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Age Coordinator to join our team. The SCA will be responsible for overseeing the educational programs and ensuring the smooth operation of the school age classroom during the summer. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, educational expertise, and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and administrators.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational strategies and programs to enhance student learning and achievement
- Collaborate with administrators to develop curriculum plans and instructional materials
- Provide guidance and support to aides in implementing effective teaching practices in the classroom
- Monitor student progress and assess educational outcomes
- Coordinate with parents and guardians to address student needs and concerns
- Conference with administrative staff and receive constructive feedback for professional growth
- Collaborate with school administrators to develop policies and procedures related to education
- Stay updated on current trends and research in education to ensure best practices are implemented
-Create program enrichment within budgetary resources for educational programs

-Oversee 30 students and 2 staff

Experience:
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting

-Strong background working with School Age children
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design principles
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
