General Summary:
The Area Operations Director (AOD) is accountable for the performance of CareATC Health Centers within their designated territory: Missouri, Oklahoma & Texas*. This role is responsible for managing Health Center resources, developing, and implementing operational plans and ensuring company Health Centers and services exceed service-level commitments. This role is accountable for assigned health center operations and performance to established company, client, and patient care KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Additionally, ensures the assigned facilities exceed AAAHC standards and follows CareATC established policies, procedures, and best practice standards, in an effective and cost-efficient manner.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Operations
- Manages the day-to-day needs of the health center, including overseeing the inventory, people needs (in collaboration with Area Medical Dir.), and general operations needs
- Coordinates internal reporting of financials, escalations, and operating scorecards in collaboration with AMDs and Client Success Directors.
- Collaborates with leadership team to monitor and drive key business metrics
- Ensure organization policies and standards are upheld, including all regulatory, procedural, policy and licensing requirements.
- People Leadership
- Has direct reporting lines to the health centers in their area and, depending upon area size & client complexity, may also have Associate Area Ops Directors (AAODs)
- Responsible for selection, performance management and compliance with regulatory requirements and CareATC policies for team members
- Mentors and coaches; responsible for people development, leadership, organization impact, and growth

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a broad range of staff members to ensure health center service levels are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- In order to effectively manage the health centers, candidate must live within the territory: Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, management, or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications in personnel management, operations management, or data analysis preferred.
Experience:
- Operations experience required.
- Strong business background with budget and business plan development required.
- Customer data applications or CRM platforms (1-3 years preferred).
- Managing P&Ls up to $10M in revenue, multisite, and multi-state health center operations (3-5 years preferred).
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity and quality of care.
- Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings.
- Masterful organization, communication, and, leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.
- Strong working knowledge or data analysis and performance metrics using business management software.
