Scientific Technical Writer
We are seeking a highly motivated technical writer to join our Research and Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic, and collaborative team bringing cutting-edge technology to transplant patient care.
The ideal candidate has technical understanding, demonstrably strong communication and writing skills, and can effectively interact with other writers, software developers, lab scientists, product managers, and project leads. We are looking for writers with experience in making complex ideas understandable by translating laboratory operational procedures into Standard Operational Procedures with accuracy, transforming scientific results into summarized reports, and working with team members to ensure relevant information is collected and captured in internal documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality documentation for clinical workflow applications.
- Produce regulatory documentation, SOPs, training material, tutorials, user guides, and knowledge-based content.
- Write technical documentation from notes and other existing documents, discussions with scientists, meetings with lab personnel, and others.
- Contribute to doc standards, including participating in peer editing.
- Update existing docs to reflect changes to functionality
- Ensure timely review of documentation by team members
- Incorporate feedback from reviewers as appropriate
- Edit existing scientist-written content in preparation for abstract/poster presentations and publication
- Participate in team meetings to review data and support product development progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in technical documentation.
- Experience with source control systems and workflow tools—Master Control.
- Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing; an obsessive eye for consistency and technical accuracy.
- Proven experience producing technical content for user consumption.
- Laser focus on and commitment to deadlines.
- Ability to thrive independently, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously.
- A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results.
