Associate, Investor Relations - Commercial Real Estate - Newport Beach, CA

A leading real estate firm focusing on commercial and industrial properties is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their Investor Relations and Marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, accuracy and dissemination of firm materials for quarterly and annual investor meetings, including fund investor reports
• Coordinate investor correspondence and external company messaging, including investment announcements, performance updates and financial reporting
• Lead the documentation and onboarding process for new investors and manage the investor portal platform
• Play a key role in the creation, updating and tracking of fundraising material and ongoing fundraising support, including pitchbooks, conference presentations and educational materials
• Assist with all capital raise activities, including investor outreach and reporting, development of new product launches and subscription and partnership agreements

Requirements

• Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
• 3 years of investor relations / fundraising experience, ideally in the real estate, capital markets or investment banking sectors
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts
• Analytical, organized, with excellent project management skills and high attention to detail
• Proficient in polished written and oral communication and a team player
• Creative in simplifying complex financial data into clear messages
