Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will coordinate and manage individual architectural projects. $18-$21 per hour. Experience required. Please submit resume.

Responsibilities

• Oversee various aspects of engineering, workflow, budget, field verification and scheduling of the assigned project.
• Supervise progress of the project from start to finish.
• Serve as the liaison for all communications with the client. Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and project estimates of products, time, install labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
• Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
• Compare the actual products of the project to estimates.
• Recommend and/or analyse materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
• Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
• Collaborate with project engineers and senior management to identify and troubleshoot problems which arise.
• Assess the competence, capabilities, and sufficiency of resources, and of subcontract installers.
• Manage and communicate requirements for Change Orders to project team and clients.
• Prepare periodic progress reports for leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least two years of experience in project management, engineering, system design, or other related field, with at least one year of management experience leading multidisciplinary project teams required.
• Blueprint reading is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Construction Experience 1 year (Preferred)
• Project Management 1 year (Preferred)
• Extensive Travel required (Must be able to travel to job sites with short notice)
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
