What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Assistant position at Career Connections, Inc?
Summary:
Project assistants need for a busy payroll and accounting financial office on campus at Ohio University. Those with a strong understanding in general accounting functions, payroll coordination, and/or payroll tax preparation and filings are highly desired. Will be doing data entry, building reports, organizing paperwork, and assisting with project related work.
These are long-term, full-time contract placements hiring immediately. The schedules will generally be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay is commensurate with experience, within the range of $15 to $17/hour, depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
- Be highly organized and detail oriented.
- A financial-focused degree is highly desired but not required.
- Must be computer literate and have the aptitude to pick up on new programs quickly.
