Currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for a position that is available in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility. Physical Therapy Assistant under the direction of a Physical Therapist are responsible for: the treatment of patients; completing documentation; planning and developing new programs; communicating with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff; presenting in-services; and assisting in general operation of the department.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a accredited PTA therapy program.
- Pass PTA Board exam.
- Must possess or be eligible for state licensure
- Some previous inpatient rehab or LTC/SNF experience preferred but not required.
