This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of pool facilities, public areas and restrooms as well as engaging with guests to ensure a great vacation experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Consistently enforce all deck and pool safety rules in pool area and pool slides.
- Clean and sanitize tables, patio furniture, exterior clubhouse patio areas, restrooms and other common areas of the pool deck in compliance with company guidelines.
- Remove used guest pool towels from bins and replenish clean stock. Sweep walkways and other pathways to and from resort facilities. Pick up trash as found in common areas, empty trash containers, replace trash bags, as necessary.
- Engage and communicate with owners and guests regarding food & beverage, activities and other functions property–wide while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- General water safety and guest service experience preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (HICV provides training)
- Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above.
- Ability to be self-directed.
- Skill in attention to detail.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Water safety, guest service or custodial experience preferred
