What an Overnight Production Supervisor will do:
- Participate in the yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures & corrective actions
- Interact with Employees, Supervisors and Managers daily to resolve technical problems, scheduling conflicts, equipment issues and employee concerns
- Plan and coordinate daily production by placing workers effectively
- Track daily attendance using Kronos Timekeeper program
- Hold training meetings daily/weekly for safety, GMPs and new procedures or processes
- Responsible for turning all documents into the proper departments
- Work order completion and review in new JD Edwards system once implemented
- Make sure product has correct ingredients, weights and manufactured correctly
- Participate in lead capital and non-capital projects
What you need to be an Overnight Production Supervisor:
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Competent in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
