We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager with affordable housing experience for communities in need of support in NW Washington, DC.
The Property Manager will help to familiarize you with the community's resident files while you take necessary measures to ensure new documents are received and files are complete/up to date. You will hold down the fort and assist residents and prospects while helping to work through their files.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Actively engage prospects and relay pertinent information about their housing requirements
- Complete all necessary filing and paperwork associated with Section 8/HUD/Tax Credit qualifications
- Report to the Property Manager with updates and a list of duties to be completed
- Review resident files to ensure documentation is accounted for and up-to-date
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of qualifications and required documents for affordable dwellings
- Strong experience with Tax Credit and Sec8 processes and tenant requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to adhere to a Monday - Friday schedule
