Job Summary: The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of a skilled nursing facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective leadership of staff. The Administrator oversees administrative, financial, clinical, and operational functions, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote a safe, supportive, and person-centered care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction in the day-to-day operation of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to promote resident safety, quality of care, and resident satisfaction.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate administrative, clinical, and support staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting professional development.
Oversee financial management, budgeting, and revenue generation activities, including billing, collections, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care plans, treatment protocols, and discharge planning processes.
Serve as the primary liaison between the facility, residents, families, regulatory agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders, fostering open communication and addressing concerns promptly.
Monitor facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment, addressing issues related to infection control, environmental safety, and emergency preparedness.
Implement quality assurance and performance improvement programs to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Participate in strategic planning, business development, and marketing initiatives to enhance the facility's reputation, occupancy rates, and financial viability.
Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, reimbursement policies, and industry trends, adapting facility operations and practices accordingly.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) licensure required.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare administration, with at least 4 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, reimbursement systems, and healthcare management principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, and revenue generation.
Ability to lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Commitment to ethical conduct, resident-centered care, and continuous quality improvement.
