Come join the fun at Loring Job Corps, Be one of the instructors for our students Leisure & Recreation Time. Creating and helping with Games, Sports, Art, Drama, Field Trips and Off Site Activities. !!!
You would be directing students in leisure-time recreation activities . (Etc. Games, Sports, Field Trips and Off Site Activities.)
Assist in organization of the recreational programs and trips and encourage students' participation.
Orders and issues materials, supplies, films, and game equipment upon Supervisor's review and approval
Develops and operates weekly game activities
Assists in center sponsored trips and events
Coaches teams engaged in on and off center activities
Assists students in drama and other creative activities
Must be able to drive company vehicles and qualify for company sponsored insurance by holding a Maine Driver's License.
Shift Schedule: Saturday thru Tuesday 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM - Off Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
All post offer candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
Requirements:Qualifications:
Minimum: One-year related experience working with youth or Associates degree.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Willingness to obtain and maintain lifeguard certification. Experience as a coach, arts & crafts, performing arts.
Knowledge: Company will trained and candidate must maintain current CPR/First Aid Certification. Must possess a valid State driver's license. Knowledge of various recreation/avocation activities. Ability to effectively relate to student population. Ability to motivate students. High energy level; enthusiastic
