Career Transitions, LLC is currently engaged in locating a high energy and engaging Product Manager for a top manufacturing client of hard durable consumer goods here in the area. This organization boasts over 2,000 employees with over $500M in sales.
The overall purpose of this role will be to support current product strategy by focusing on opportunities for streamlining product offerings. This role will also take a leading role in supporting major customer projects and work with building and managing a robust product roadmap driven by company strategy.
Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new technologies/options offered by current and potential suppliers.
- Run the NPD gated process for new product programs.
- Manage the development, integration, and validation of new product offerings to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate with customer/sales and internal teams on customer driven product development to ensure customer requirements are met and new products are delivered on time.
- Present the roadmap and status of product development to executive leadership.
- Attend trade shows and association meetings, as required.
Product Manager Qualifications:
- Degree or commensurate work experience with at least 3 years of product management experience preferred.
- Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly organized with the ability to perform with minimal direction/supervision.
