Compensation : $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
Job Summary :
We are currently looking for a Billing Analyst with experience in workers' compensation to join our dynamic billing team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Billing Analyst and the Billing and Collections Supervisor, playing a vital role in our billing operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and process monthly invoices in line with firm guidelines.
Review and process all billing transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with client terms.
Process and reconcile accounts receivables promptly.
Identify and collect past-due balances from clients.
Contact clients to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Collaborate with attorneys and office supervisors to maintain compliance with client billing guidelines.
Provide effective customer service to clients regarding account inquiries and issues.
Monitor the status of submitted invoices through eBilling systems and address any obstacles to ensure timely payments.
Maintain cycle time standards and meet production deadlines as established by management.
Train team members and provide guidance as needed.
Perform additional duties and tasks as required.
Skills and Experience :
Attention to Detail : Essential for accurate billing and record-keeping.
Organization : Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with attorneys and clients.
Excel Proficiency : Intermediate level proficiency required.
Data Entry Experience : Familiarity with entering data into computerized systems and databases.
Training Ability : Willingness to train and mentor team members.
Confidentiality : Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Billing Experience : Prior experience in billing and collections.
E-Billing Experience : Familiarity with e-billing software such as Tymetrix, Legal X, Collaborati, Legal Solution Suites, Legal Case Cost, and Counsellink.
Educational Background : College degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Additional Qualifications :
Software Experience : Experience with Tabs3 / Practice Master software is desirable.
E-Billing Hub : Familiarity with eBilling Hub is a plus.
