Job Brief
As a Production Associate for our CareerNet Approved Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to take proactive actions and effectively communicate any observations that may affect the quality of our products and our ability to achieve on-time deliveries. The Production Associate is an integral part of our production team, contributing to the overall success of the company's manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections and quality checks on automotive components and finished products during various stages of production. Identify any deviations, defects, or discrepancies and take immediate action to rectify or report them to the appropriate authority.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor production equipment, machinery, and assembly lines to ensure smooth operation. Identify potential issues and address them promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Reporting and Documentation: Document all observations, issues, and actions taken during the production process. Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, machine performance, and any other relevant data.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ideas to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with supervisors, team leaders, and fellow production team members regarding any potential concerns or problems that may impact production schedules, product quality, or delivery timelines.
- Adherence to Standards: Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise during production, applying analytical skills and practical knowledge to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:
