Product Innovation - Analyst / Senior Analyst

This Analyst/Sr. Analyst position will play a central Product Owner role in envisioning and design of next generation of global consumer and commercial credit risk capabilities spanning capacity management, model deployment, limit management, customer management, authorizations, and collateral management.

The incumbent will the help to coordinate the migration of key systems, detailing the blueprint, and work with internal partners as well as external experts, to arrive at the best design/solution and coordinate its execution. They will help to craft the process vision and roadmap, give input on the customer experience, consult on business architecture, gather requirements, decide prioritization, track development status, and reporting as well as defining process controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with managers and directors to design solutions and strategies
• Perform analytics using data science tools and capabilities to solve business problems
• Incorporate new data sources and capabilities in decision-making
• Work in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework and effectively manage a backlog of competing initiatives
• Assist the product owner with prioritization, story writing, and the Agile ceremonies
• Collaborate with other functional teams across the Risk and Non-Risk groups to use standard methodologies and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the customer journey
• Deliver projects that result in functional change to a single business product/service or provide support to larger projects that deliver significant change to multiple applications for single business products/services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in product development, or a related field; 3-4 years required for Sr. Analyst position
• Independent self-starter that thrives in unambiguous, constantly evolving, fast paced environments
• A good balance of domain knowledge and intuition for business with an ability to drive digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first approach
• An understanding of what is needed to launch software and services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework and principles
• Good understanding/experience of Big Data environments/technologies
• Ability to query databases independently using SQL tools for research and analytical purposes
• Thought leadership with a pragmatic approach
• A desire to think strategically and apply both quantitative methods and business insight to get results
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and multifaceted work environment
• Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
